Gould trained at prestigious salons including Vidal Sassoon, Jacques Dessange and Yosh Toya. Her love of learning helped her develop and direct an associate training program at Studio Branca Salonspa in Creve Coeur, Missouri.  “I believe education is the foundation for any successful profession,” Gould said, “sharing new trends with the team was the best reward.”

In 2006, Gould decided to pursue her passion for education and opened a premiere cosmetology school, The Salon Professional Academy in St. Charles, Missouri. “As the director, I coach and mentor our educators and continue to improve our programs. DETAILS
I have been in the beauty industry for 15 years. My career started at Studio Branca working part time as a support staff team member while attending college full time.

I graduated from The University of St. Louis Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Upon graduation I continued working full time at the salon. I was promoted to Frontline manager where I started to develop my coaching and mentoring skills. I became very passionate about the beauty industry. I knew that I wanted to continue to grow as a business woman as well as continue to grow others through coaching and mentoring.

Since then I have been given the opportunity to become a partner and join the leadership team with Studio Branca, Salon Branca and The Salon Professional Academy.

I am currently Director of Admissions at The Salon Professional Academy. I also manage the finances for all three companies. I pride myself on the decisions that I make on a daily basis that will positively impact our students, employees and businesses.

DETAILS
I have dedicated 14 years of my career to educating others in the beauty industry.

Growing up I knew that I wanted to do two things, hair and teach. The beauty industry has allowed me to make both of my childhood dreams possible.

In 1997 while working in a salon, I continued my education and received my instructor's license in the field of Cosmetology and Esthetics. With this education, I have been able to take my drive to educate others to schools and salons in the St. Louis, Illinois and KC area.

As the director of Retail and Associate Development for a group of salons in the St. Louis area, I was able to receive top education from top manufactures in our industry and share that with associates in salons and now with students at the Academy.

I have been with The Salon Professional Academy since 2008. I started with the school as an Educator of Cosmetology and Esthetics, and have since moved into the Director of Financial Aid position and I am also the Esthetics Education Coordinator.

As a young mother of two, I would not have been able to go to school without the help that financial aid gives. I see the significance that financial aid has on a student's decision to go to school. It has now been my goal to help as many students as I can reach their own academic goals without the worry of paying for school during their enrollment period.
